The subject of success is often hyped in secrecy by self improvement gurus who are looking to gain personally from your curiosity. They will tell you that you can unlock the secrets of success if you pay them money to tell you what they are.

This article will smash through all of the propaganda surrounding the so called secrets of success and provide you the facts about success – without the hype. The truth is there are no secrets of success. Success comes from following a three stage process which anyone can follow so here are the secrets revealed:

Secret of success number one

You must decide what you want. The reason that most people are not successful is not because they are not aware of the secret it is because they don’t know what they want from life in the short and long term. If you ask the people around you what they want from their life, it is almost guaranteed that they will have to give it some thought or will just say that "they have no idea". Now that you are aware of the initial “secret of success” you must spend some quality time deciding what your goals are in the next twelve to sixty months.

Secret of success number 2

You have to have a plan. This secret of success is the next biggest reason why people fail to succeed. If you have a desire to achieve a significant increase in your income in the coming year then it's not enough just dreaming about it. You need a plan that will get you from where you are now to where you want to be. Strangely, many people fall over with this success secret as they experience great difficulty making a realistic plan. But if you desire something strongly enough, creating the will be easy.

Secret of success number 3

You have to make your plan happen by taking action. This is without doubt the most painful success secret to turn into reality as it calls for action on a day to day basis and the perseverance to overcome obstacles that will confront you on your journey. Upon arrival at success secret three you need to build up the impetus and you will be on your way to success. It is important to make inroads towards your desire on a daily basis. Even if you only spend a few minutes every day, it will enhance upon the previous day and you will get amazing results.

And that's it. No real secrets to achieving success. These steps have worked for successful people in the past and will certainly work for you too. The real secret to success is making a start, and developing the concentration, drive and tenacity to see your desires turn into reality. So don’t be hoodwinked into believing that there are mystical success secrets – just adopt the process above to achieve any desire. Take heart from the fact that if you can visualize it you can do it. Your success is totally under your control and there really are no secrets or magic wands.
